They say Trujillo messed them up. /)__- So apparently we might be in classes we didn’t even sign up for. Counselors said they won’t fix schedules during the first two weeks of school. WHAAT.
Then again.. I guess it’ll be interesting, being in some class for two weeks, then being in a new one (the one you should have been in) later on. Still, it just irritates me that the schedules always gets screwed up. Sheesh.
They are always messed up, every single year. I’ve always gotten stuck in a class or two where I either did not belong in, or did not sign up for. I wish the old counselors didn’t quit. They got sh*t done! It’s whatever though. Seniors have priority in cases of schedule changes ;D (yay for me). It’s my last year, I’m trying not to stress over this. Just had to get that out -_-. And as for Trujillo, that’s all on him. He messes up, he’ll have to hear from the swarms of angry students and parents filing into the office wondering why the school messes up. I understand that our schedules can’t be absolutely perfect, but still…haha Trujillo.
I see all those people who are so full of talent and creativity and I end up feeling really bland, like I’m bread or something, but without nutella and everyone else has nutella. Y’know what I mean? /:
Couldn’t have put it in better words. Don’t worry, I feel the same way too.
Day Five: Something (like something funny they said, or maybe it was just a simple “I love you”) that someone txt’d/IM’d you within the past month.
Text from Miya Lynne "Heyy (:" A simple hey. I absolutely adore this girl. I may not always reply quickly because I’m sleeping or I don’t hear my phone. Either way, I like the little ‘heys’ every now and then from this girl.
oh rly? i finished it right after school ended karl. so i wouldnt have to deal with it for summer. oh are you going to middle school orientation? i am.
Well that’s you Gabe =]. I chose to start now because by the time I have to write that stupid timed essay, I’ll have the book fresh in my mind. That little green paper they gave us is not gonna help me out one bit. Yes, I’m going. I hope you come by and help out.
I’ll stay up till about 5-6am, and I’ll pretend to be asleep because my mom comes to kiss me goodbye every morning before she goes to school or work, and I don’t want her to get mad because I was awake. That doesn’t work, never has. She explained once that I have bed head, which is how she can tell if I’ve been sleeping of not. Now that I think about it, anything I hide, she finds out quickly. I don’t know why she’s going back to school to be a nurse. I think she makes Sherlock Holmes look like a noob. <3
most people are just now starting on their summer reading book, even though school is pretty much right around the corner. Like me =]. Checked out ‘Their Eyes Were Watching God’. I was pleased to see that it was a good size. I can get through this book.
Making new friends. Finding someone who you have no history with, and making an amazing connection with in the future. Not as a boyfriend or girlfriend, just friends. Making a new friend is like reading an amazing book. You just become so engrossed in the contents.
Day Three: A place you’ve never been to, but plan on visiting.
Venice, Italy. I remember this one book I read back in the 3th grade. I forgot the name, but it was about this group of kids who lived on the streets of Venice. They stole to survive, and had a secret hideout. They were like a family. The way the author described Venice with such beauty made me want to visit it one day.
Venice has many names such as “The Floating City”. In the New York Times, it was described as “undoubtedly the most beautiful city built by man”. One of the ways to get around and see the sights is by the waterways aboard a gondola. Venice is also famous for it’s ornate glass work, known as Venitian glass. Many efforts were made to keep the style and techniques of glass making in Venice, but they failed. The Venice Film Festival, or in Italian ‘Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia’, is one of the oldest film festivals in the world. The festival was founded in 1932 by Giuseppe Volpi di Misurata and has taken place every year in late August or early September. Screenings take place in the amazing and historic Palazzo del Cinema.
I’d tell you more, but I think I’m starting to get you guys bored. Sorry =P. I wanna go…
Some tamales. I’m not sure how to make them, and I don’t want to attempt it. I remember my school used to serve them on Wednesdays for lunch and I made sure that I got one no matter what. I don’t know why they stopped, they were pretty good. The taco shop a couple blocks down serves some good ones too, but lately it’s been super duper hot, and I’ve been less than broke haha. Someone teach me how to make ‘em =D.
Cinderella walked on broken glass. Sleeping Beauty let a whole lifetime pass. Belle fell in love with a beast. Jasmine fell for a common theif. Ariel walked on land for love and life. Snow White barely escaped a knife. It was all about blood, sweat, and tears because love means facing your greatest fears.
